‘Flaming Ears’ is a queer science-fiction dystopia. Using raw
Super 8 aesthetics and unconventional means, the film tells the story
of the three protagonists Spy, Volly and Nun, who nervously,
sometimes aggressively, sometimes tenderly, shred through the
burnt-down city of Asche. Caught up in their own obsessions, they try
to find their way around and settle down. This process is full of
love, betrayal, jealousy, sex, and violence.
