Tejal Shah
In her provocative and dreamlike films Tejal Shah deals with the issue of the human body as a gendered and semiotically shaped category. She explores intimacy, sexuality, desire by challenging the norms of visual (re)presentation. She asks and makes her public wonder what nature is and what is natural. Is there nature at all? Where does desire stem from? Is that all there is?
